There were a lot of computers with random lights, as well as a huge amount of tools in a cabinet-like thing. There was also a chair in the middle of the room with many switches and buttons on the right arm rest. Eggman shut the door as Decoe and Bocoe came in. "Now, go into the back of the room," Eggman said, and so the two robots did. Eggman sat in the huge chair. "What did you want, Dr. Eggman?" Decoe asked. "Well, it's about your work..." "Uh huuuh..." Decoe and Bocoe both said. "You see, I know you've recently been obedient, and are easily able to fix things for me around here..." "Uh huuuh..." "However, I can't risk past incidents again." "Uh h... wait, what?" Decoe said. "That's not important. What's important is the last time you two were both given a chance to think freely, you managed to somehow stop some of my plans! YOU RUINED MY CHANCE TO CAUSE THE VOLCANOES TO ERUPT ALL OVER THE OTHER PLANET!" Both robots were afraid. "B-but Dr. Eggman," said Bocoe, "W-we're not on the other planet anymore and-" "I don't care, you've messed up several other missions as well. Right now, I've decided, robots that are affect my plans are thrown away..." "Um... what do you mean?" "I mean they're thrown away in the garbage. Along with other failed robots. I can't let you mess up my plans again! Besides, I've created a much smarter and stronger robot. He pointed to a robot in the back right corner of the room, which was hooked to a computer by many violet-red wires. "He may not be finished now, but I've made it so he will be perfectly obedient, and therefore, I have no more use for you." Bocoe tried to talk one last time. "But Dr.-" Eggman pulled a green switch, and a trap door opened below Decoe and Bocoe. Both robots fell down a chute, screaming. They finally landed on a huge pile of random metal parts. They looked up and noticed the trap door shut, and everything was pitch black. "Ahh! What's gonna happen?!" Decoe said, feeling around because he couldn't see. He noticed something round. "What's this?" He picked it up, and noticed it was connected to something heavy. There was a clang. "Decoe, that's my foot." As it was lifted up, Bocoe had fallen on his face. "Oh sorry," Decoe said, letting go right away. Then things started to shake, and they were falling again. Decoe and Bocoe entered a lighted room and could see what they were doing then. They were on top of a huge pile of broken robot parts. Apparently, they were the only "living" robots being thrown away. Suddenly, something caught Bocoe's eye. It was a tiny green computer-chip-like card. He picked it up and looked at it. It looked like a memory card of some sort. "Hey, Decoe!" Bocoe said. "Do you know why this thing's here?" "Looks like some kinda data card..." Decoe replied, "Normally Dr. Eggman would improve or erase these before they're thrown out..." "What should we do wi-?" Suddenly, they were pulled to the ground, as if gravity suddenly shifted to a very strong force. Back to fanfictions |
